Half Plan 12 weeks


Need a 12 week half marathon training plan, no problem!


The plan attached would work well for someone who is able to comfortably running 3 miles without stopping. This plan focuses on time of feet and has no speed work involved.


When choosing a training plan it needs to have a few things to make it successful.


1. Cut back weeks. You NEED to have a cut back week every 3rd or 4th week to help with recovery.

2. Do not increase more then 10% of overall mileage for that week from yesterday previous week This normally comes from in the form of the long run. If you increase more then 10% repeat the same mileage 2 weeks in a row.
